There’s No Place Like Home

Oh so tired this morning, but the fun we had last night on Halloween was definitely worth it!

What did my lovely little lady want to be this year… Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz! I don’t think she’s ever seen the movie, but she sure did know the costume!

She first fell in love with this costume when she realized she could wear the ruby red slippers! What little girl wouldn’t want to be Dorothy when you get to prance around in adorable glittery shoes?

I’m kind of surprised she didn’t want to be a monster this year with all of the silly faces she always makes!

We found the costume from Target and her adorable little treat bag from a shop off Main Street in Old St. Charles last weekend.

We started the evening at my parent’s house and then traveled to my in-law’s for our annual Trick or Treating Festivities. I have 18 nieces and nephews on my husband’s side of the family so it’s always fun going out with all of the kids.

We only lasted about 25 homes! My little Dorothy was awfully tired from all the activities at Grandma’s house and wanted to go home and see Toto (or Jack).

Another Halloween has come and gone, but we sure did have fun last night!

And I think my little Dorothy was pleased with the evening.

Now I can’t believe it’s November!! Lots of projects to share, plus Christmas shopping to get under way. Eek! Now that’s scary!
