This week you have a chance to vote for your favorite living room. There are 4 featured bloggers that are each in charge of designing a mood board. Pretty cool, huh? The choices for this week are Coastal Escape, Southern Bungalow, Rustic Hideaway or Industrial Loft!
The other room designs will be a Dining Room, a Home Office, and a Bedroom. LOVE this idea!
So from now until August 14, you can visit YourPicksYourPlace.com to vote once per day for your preferred room design showcasing furniture and home décor items selected by featured bloggers. By voting, you’ll be entered for a chance to win a $10,000 grand prize or one of eight $250 weekly prizes to go towards your own selections for your home.

If I won $10,000, I would definitely update our master bath. Imagine olive green tile walls, floor, tub AND toilet, “marble” formica counter top. Yeah. And I would probably try to squeeze in a new kitchen floor as well. :)
I would definitely update the Kitchen with Stainless Steel Appliances, marble counters and new tile.
I would finish my basement, creating a big game room for my kids and a place for my husband to ‘display’ all of his things.

I would work on my kitchen. The floor tile was cracked and there in no floor tiles and it is a mess and we ran out of money. Thanks for the giveaway.
Kitchen would be first to redo and then close in the porch for a homeschool/craft room. Any leftover would do to new floors–LOVE giveaways!

If I won the $10,000, the first thing I would do is buy Jeff a La-Z-Boy recliner :) . After that I would work on improvements to pieces of furniture and our home decor. I wouldn’t want to do any permanent improvements because we’re renting and plan on moving in less than a year when Jeff graduates.
I would update both bathrooms – toilets, sinks, counter tops, cabinents
Re-landscape the backyard, finish redoing the bathroom(s?), and replace the cabinetry in the kitchen! I think that would probably put me at the 10K point. :)

There are few things. The first is a new refrigerator. Second is we need a new toilet in the bathroom in the master bedroom and the counter needs to be replaced and we need painting in the bedroom too.

oh gracious if I won there is so much decorating and FINISHING projects to do in our barn turned house – just said yesterday I was soooooooo ready to be done but funds are low – fingers crossed!!

First up would be rewire the house. Since it’s such a small house we’d have some money left over and would do some cosmetic work in kitchen – paint the cabinets and definitely a new floor.
I would definitely get to some projects that have been put off because of need for tools, etc. Getting a whole handful of things done would be more rewarding than a major project right now.
If I would renovate the kitchen and If I had money over I would built a swimming pool for the kids, with over 100 degree weather, we something to cool down!
