It’s hard to believe that this is the last weekend in September. Where has the time gone? Well, I guess in case you missed it, here’s some of my favorite projects from past month. Enjoy the rewind!
Fall Fireplace Mantel Makeover
Yay, September welcomed my favorite time of the year! I was so excited to start decorating. First project: my fireplace mantel.

I originally got a stencil from Royal Design Studio to decorate my laundry room walls, but out of the blue decided to paint my old washer and dryer instead. Crazy? Maybe. But I’m in love.

I got to try out a new product called Scrapbook Attitude where you can take this special paper directly from your inkjet printer and glue it on wood, fabric, cardboard… pretty much anything. Pretty cool stuff and I’m lovin’ the outcome.

Well, you saw my stenciled washer and dryer but here’s the complete laundry room makeover. Oh, did I mention it was done on a super strict budget?

And did you notice that I added a new section to my website? Now you can find all of my favorite Inspiration Files under one place. Love this new addition for my readers.
So, what are you looking forward to in October?
Can you believe it’s here already?! I’ve totally slacked on any Halloween decorations and crafts this year. Oh well, I guess there’s still a little time, right?

Okay, that washer and dryer are awesome! What kind of paint did you use? I love your laundry room quote. I just love laundry room makeovers, but my husband does the laundry. Maybe I should surprise him and make it over with HIS favorite things…hmmm. :)
Thanks for the inspiration, as always!
Sue
Thanks Sue! I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint for the stenciled washer and dryer and gave it a poly top coat. Makes a huge difference in the room. Good luck with your surprise!
I don’t which I am more envious of, the fireplace/mantle or the laundry room! Both look awesome. :)
Thanks so much Kendra!
