October in Review

Happy Halloween everyone! It’s hard to believe that October is already over. Before you know it Thanksgiving will be here… wow. Well in case you missed anything in the whirlwind, here’s some of my favorite projects from past month. Enjoy the rewind!

Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint Credenza

My first ever project with Miss Mustard Seed’s milk paint! Super nerve wracking to try out a new medium, but I instantly fell in love with the chippiness of this paint.

Cupcake Birthday Party Free Printables

Who doesn’t love cupcakes? In October I created a bunch of free birthday printables for you to enjoy, including cupcake toppers, water bottle labels, a birthday banner, food cards and even an invitation ready to personalize.

Halloween Treat Bag using Ink Effects

OK, it may be a little late for this project since today is Halloween, but this was my first project using Ink Effects and I instantly fell in love with the stuff.

Cinnamon Stick Covered Tissue Box

I was asked to create a project using supplies from ConsumerCrafts.com and I couldn’t pass up some cinnamon sticks for the Fall season. And what better says cooler weather than sniffly noses and tissues. The best part? Less than $10 to make.

Monogram Wall Art

As part of my Kitchen makeover, I created this monogram wall art. With just less than $10 worth of supplies, this personalized artwork is a great addition to my new kitchen.

Painted Kitchen Cabinet Makeover

And speaking of kitchen… in October I finally revealed my painted kitchen cabinet makeover! It’s amazing how some white paint can completely transform a space. You have to see the before and after!

How to Paint Your Kitchen Cabinets

And in case you wanted the step-by-step instructions on how I painted my cabinets, I gave the full tutorial this past month. Check it out and see how I spent less than $100 on the transformation.

OH, and in case you missed yesterday’s post, I’m giving you a FREE Thanksgiving Subway Art printable so you can’t prepare for November!

You’ve been good to me but I’m ready for Thanksgiving
with football, food, family and friends!

Happy Halloween everyone. Be safe tonight!

Thanksgiving Subway Art {free printable}

Tomorrow is Halloween so my brain is already thinking about Thanksgiving. Yep, my favorite holiday is right around the corner and I’m quite excited to get the house in order. First thing to cross off my list? A Thanksgiving Subway Art printable for my fireplace mantel.

Save the file to your desktop, print out 100% and trim.
Use an 8×10 inch frame to display.

Also don’t forget to print out my Fall Bucket List!
It’s not too late to enjoy these fun activities, right?
