Stenciled Stools

Last week I was trying to find some additional seating for my daughter’s bedroom to sit in front of the stage, but everything in stores seemed to be like $50… each. Yeah, not gonna happen.

before stenciled stoolsI decided to use paint I had on hand: Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Pure White and CC Caldwell’s paint in Memphis Blue.

painted stenciled stoolsMostly because I knew I would distress the entire stool with my sanding block. Since these stools will be in my kid’s room, I know they’re going to get banged up in no time. Why not help start the process.

Really cute. Makes me want to start a new project, but I am on a hiatus because I have made too many things , but haven ‘t sold much. Second. Chance Boutique is on a break.

Erin you did it again. How cute are these stools. I so miss having my little girl and her little girl just turned 18. So I really enjoy your posts about your daughter. This project gave me some ideas of some things I can do with a beat up old stool that my deceased brother gave me aa few months ago. I love it dearly and want it in my home. So I will be working on it. Pics will follow when I get it done.:)

Thank you so much Karen! Glad you enjoy the posts. Nothing better than building my little girl’s dream bedroom and seeing her enjoy it everyday. Good luck with your projects and I can’t wait to see some pics when it’s completed. Please send them my way!
