A little over a month ago I shared the mood board for my brother’s guest bedroom makeover. This is a project that I’ve been working on all summer with the help of Ace Hardware. The first step was painting the room in a light clay color from the OPI color palette called Do You Take Lei Away from Clark+Kensington at Ace Hardware.
Then came the fun stuff… making the room come to life!
You might first notice the nightstands I painted awhile back. I actually decided to add some legs recently with the help of tee nuts from Ace Hardware and LOVE the new look! Tutorial on that coming later this week.
Once the wall color and nightstands were complete, it was time to find textiles. I quickly fell in love with these pillows and matching curtain panels from Pier 1 Imports (called Blue Meadow).
Over the bed I decided to hang some old frames I picked up from Red Posie and painted them with some sample pots from Ace Hardware, pulling colors from the pillows & curtains.
Across from the bed is a newly painted dresser.
More info on this one coming soon too!
On top of the bed is my new wood plank tray that I showed you guys last week that I made with supplies from Ace Hardware. LOVE this addition to the room and we actually use it all the time.

That’s for 20 of them 😉 You can buy them individually at your local Ace Hardware though.
