Back to School Labels for Kids

School supply shopping is done and now it’s time to label everything. To help with this and turn my daughter’s solid color folders and notebooks into something special, I created some fun Back to School Labels for your kids!

back to school labels for kidsThis is SO EASY so no excuses!

Just buy some white 8.5 inch sticker paper.
Download the file.
Open, print, trim, stick.

back to school labelsI created 4 different large labels for notebooks, pocket folders,
books, and a generic label as well.

This Week In School Chalk Board Sign

this week in school chalkboard sign tutorialMy little ladybug starts Kindergarten next Wednesday. Can you believe it? Feels like summer just started! Well I guess it’s time to get organized for the school year. First up? A place to showcase her schoolwork!

look what i did signI started with some simple supplies:

  • Carved wood board from Michael’s
  • Black chalkboard paint and brush
  • Apple decals
  • Binder clips
  • Hot glue gun
  • White painters marker
  • Chalk

this week in school chalk board signMy idea behind this is to hang her artwork, write in the dates, and take a photo. Yep, I won’t have to save every single piece of artwork, just the best ones from the year. BUT I’ll still have an archive of everything she did with dates & photos.

Pretty clever, huh?
Yeah, let’s just see if I actually stick to this plan…this week in school chalkboard sign tutorial
