Happy Monday everyone! Continuing on with my Easter theme and sharing my new door/wall bling today… an Easter Mesh Carrot Wreath.
So you’re going to start by chopping the straw wreath (still wrapped in the plastic) with your knife. I cut it into 3 even parts, then cut one of the pieces in half again (so basically 1/3, 1/3, 1/6 and 1/6). Form like below with the two larger pieces on the outside and the smaller pieces on the inside. And yes, this will get messy.
Now it’s time to add your final orange layer of small “bubbles” to the wreath form. Fill in the top with your green “bubbles” keeping it kind of behind the orange layer. And lastly add a little loop in the back to hang (I just used an extra piece of mesh rolled tightly and pinned it to the back of the wreath form).
And your final piece will look a little something like this…
If you remember my Christmas sun room décor, I made this little wood background to go above our TV hutch to display my wreaths. The wreath just hangs on here with a Command Brand hook. Super simple.
