Servings 16 taquitos

Ingredients

  • 6 oz shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 16 small flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup green salsa
  • cups shredded cheese (Mexican blend)
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp cilantro
  • 2 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°.

  2. Combine softened cream cheese, salsa and all the spices with your mixer.

  3. Next shred the chicken into tiny pieces.

  4. Add chicken and shredded cheese into bowl and mix again.

  5. Scoop about 1/3 cup of mixture into each tortilla and spread evenly across the length towards one end of the tortilla.

  6. Then roll up the tortillas tightly and place on a cookie sheet. Leave a little space between each taquito so they don't stick together when baking!

  7. Bake on 425° for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with a dash of salt to taste.
