Triple Layer Bars

  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 2/3 cups flaked coconut
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 11.5 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In 13x9 inch pan, melt butter or margarine in oven.
  3. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over melted butter, then coconut.
  4. Pour sweet condensed milk evenly over coconut.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  6. In small pan, melt half of the chocolate chips and peanut butter over low heat. Then add remaining chocolate chips and fully melt.
  7. Spread evenly over coconut layer.
  8. Cool, then refrigerate for 2-3 hours to fully harden.
  9. Cut into bars and store covered at room temperature.

Yields about 18-24 bars.
