My favorite holiday is right around the corner… Thanksgiving! I love gathering friends and family around the table and reflecting on what we’ve been thankful for during the past year. Well I know just how expensive Thanksgiving can be while preparing for a houseful of guests so today I’m trying to show you how you can dress up your Thanksgiving table on a budget with these Thanksgiving Table Setting Ideas!

1. Mini Gourds & Pumpkins
I picked up a small bag of gourds and pumpkins from Dollar General for $2! You can easily put one on each place setting for a little added color and Fall fun.  Sprinkle the rest of them around the table for additional décor.

2. Free Printables
Add some extra pizzazz for next to nothing with these free Thanksgiving printables I created last year! You can customize these menu cards, food card, place cards and little toppers.

3. Chargers
I’m a huge fan of plate chargers. They really spruce up your place settings, especially if you have just plain white dishes. I picked up 12 gold chargers from Dollar General for $1 each. These will look great for Christmas and other holidays too!

4. Pinecones
Think about bringing the outdoors inside. Pinecones are great for any Fall table with their beautiful texture.

5. Candles
Add a little bit of ambiance to your Thanksgiving table with candles. If you have a bunch of kids at the table this year, consider the battery-powered version. I love how they actually look realistic these days with the twinkle effect.

6. Textiles
You can make any plain table look dressed with a new tablecloth, placemats, or table runner. Or if you want to really impress, try mixing your textiles and use all three like I did above. Different textures and patterns can really work together and don’t have to cost an arm and a leg (all the ones above are from Dollar General).

7. Spray
Try tying your napkin with a simple piece of rope or twine and inserting a piece of spray like wheat or berries. Definitely a wow factor and budget friendly!

8. Decorative Pumpkins
I picked up these adorable Give Thanks pumpkins from Dollar General. How cute to have one of these sitting on each dinner plate at the beginning of dinner?

9. Flowers
If you only have enough money for one decorative item on your Thanksgiving table, I would invest in flowers. Simple and understated. You can even purchase fake flowers and make a centerpiece that you can use year after year.

10. Stuffed Turkeys
I quickly fell in love with these little turkeys at Dollar General! Since they were $2.50 a piece it’s probably the only addition I would make to a Thanksgiving Table Setting Ideas on a budget, but they’re great to reuse every year!
