This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of DISH for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have to admit, I don't watch a whole lot of live TV. Due to my hectic schedule between my full time job, this blog and being a mommy and wife, most of the shows I get to watch are pre-recorded so I can fast-forward through commercials.

Well now DISH has a game-changer for me… The Hopper™. The Hopper is a Whole-Home HD DVR system available only from DISH. You get to watch live and recorded TV from anywhere and instantly skip commercials in recorded primetime TV on ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC.

AND on top of that, you can record SIX (6) different shows at the same time with PrimeTime AnyTime™! OK, do you know how many times I've missed one of my favorite shows because I can only record 2 things at once? Plus there will be no more arguments over who's show is more important to record in this house. Eek, I'm seriously excited about this! Yep, it's the little things in life that make me happy.

Plus the new Hopper also comes with AutoHop™ so you can skip commercials in recorded primetime TV. Seriously? That's ad-free TV with no frustration of having to sit through ! – – and you can store up to 2,000 hours of your favorite shows.

And the best part in my book? The DISH Whole-Home HD DVR allows you to pause, rewind and record live TV in any room. Plus you can access your DVR library on all TVS so you can record a movie in the family room, start watching it in the kitchen, then finish in the bedroom…. OH. MY.

Another awesome thing (as if you need another)? With the Hopper can watch live and recorded TV including live sporting events, TV shows and movies – anytime, anywhere – with Hopper Transfers™. What's cool about this is you can watch all of your favorite recorded shows even if you don't have internet connection. So if you're traveling with your family on the road, or flying for business, you can simply trasfer your DVR recordings to your iPad with the free Hopper Transfers. Uh, seriously awesome since you don't need to spend extra money on iTunes downloads! I can't wait to try this out on my flights to SNAP and the Haven Conference this year!

So how much does all of this cost? Well you can get the Hopper™ FREE when you sign up for DISH. Packages start at $24.99 (for 12 months when you sign a 24 month contract. Restrictions apply).

I'm actually pretty excited to try this out. Recording up to 6 shows at a time, watching my live and recorded shows from anywhere (even without internet connection), and skipping primetime commercials with the press of a button? SIGN ME UP.

Great review Erin! I personally think anybody who enjoys TV even just a little bit should pick up a DISH Hopper! I am a TV junkie, so that is why I made sure to get one the day I found out they were available! I enjoy everything about it, but when it comes to all the traveling I do for my job at DISH, the DISH Anywhere app is what comes in handy the most for me. It’s great to use as entertainment during boring wait times on my travels, but really I just love the fact that I can keep up with all of my, live or recorded, shows, even when I’m half way across the country! 🙂
