Now that it’s officially November, the holiday party season is fully upon us (scary, right?). We already have 3 different parties on the calendar, including one at our home towards the end of the month. Since we’re in our new house I really wanted to showcase the place with some fun new décor. I stopped by our new local At Home and picked up some supplies at their everyday low prices from their adorable Peppermint Jazz Christmas theme for our wine & cheese party.
And here’s all of it set up in our kitchen…
The first thing I wanted to do was decorate the backs of our counter stools. I used some ribbon from At Home along with a pinecone garland.
We purchased some platters & cookie tins for the food.
Just loving the look of this chalkboard theme!
Since it will be a wine and cheese party, I grabbed some wine charms and a snow globe bottle stopper from At Home. Then since we will be playing some family trivia (my favorite holiday tradition!), I bought some gift wine bottle boxes so the lucky winner can carry home their prize in style!
My favorite little item I grabbed from At Home were these cocktail napkins.
LOVE these! Perfect for our appetizers, too.
The kitchen island centerpiece is quite simple, just some poinsettias and holiday colored pinecones. The pinecones smell like cinnamon too. SO good!
Overall I kept this party simple and sweet. The best part? I only spent $40 on decorations from At Home. Gotta love the stuff that doesn’t break the bank. Make sure you check out all of the At Home Christmas Decor, including their gorgeous collection of Christmas Trees and the cute Tree for Me that you can decorate for any season!
Ok, now I probably should tear this stuff down and decorate for Thanksgiving instead but it’s just too cute, right? Stay tuned for the rest of the week though because I am sharing a couple projects for Turkey Day!

I took down the Halloween stuff today and put up the Thanksgiving stuff. I went to both JoAnn’s and Micheal’s and there was nothing for fall or Thanksgiving! Are we just supposed to go right to Christmas?
Did you go to the At Home in Gravois Bluffs? We went there a few weeks ago and it was a mess! Stuff everywhere. I’m hoping they were just in the middle of restocking or moving everything in the store. Every aisle had carts of stuff, boxes stacked up, you could barely walk.
You found some fun stuff.

Apparently YES, skip right to Christmas! haha.
And we went to the At Home in O’Fallon. It just opened a week or two ago and was very nice. I’m heading out to the one in Fenton this Friday night. Hopefully it was just because they were restocking!

My invite must’ve gotten lost in the mail… 😉 Love those chalkboard themed tins and boxes– super cute!
