Ah, I finally got around to painting some furniture over the weekend and it felt oh-so-good!

console-table-makeover-with-ASCPSince I’m kinda homeless right now, I’m enjoying helping out with some projects for my friends and family. First up? A beat up console table in desperate need of a makeover. My best friend wanted to add a punch of color to her new home and though near the staircase in the family room would be the perfect place.

old console tableWe had an accent pillow from her couches that she wanted to match, somewhere between Duck Egg Blue and Versailles Green.

console table with annie sloan chalk paintI’m totally loving this color! Reminds me of Sea Salt from Sherwin Williams that I used in my old kitchen and craft room.

chalk paint console tableI didn’t wax this console table yet but I have plans to do it later this week. Since she has an active family with 4 young kids… yeah, I think I knew how the table got so beat up in the first place.

What a beautiful, calming color, it looks really “beachy” to me. I am sure your friends and family are lining up to take advantage of your down time between houses!
