Now that my master bedroom is complete with new paint, bedding, window treatments and artwork, it’s time to move on to our master bath. This place is pretty bland. I mean just take a look below…
Yeah, pretty white.
And I don’t know why the floor plan we bought calls for such a large bathroom.
Overkill in my opinion. Right?
So I started drawing up a mood board for this space.
Here’s what I’ve come up with so far…
I decided to use the same paint color we have in our master bedroom since I have an entire gallon leftover. It’s called Functional Gray by Sherwin Williams.
The first bit of décor I found for the room was the window treatment from RLF Home. LOVE this Cerque Empire valance. It perfectly fits my color scheme of grays and golds, plus I love the ribbon trim. I also used RLF Home valances in my sunroom and love the quality.
Here are some other things I rounded up for the room:
• Savoy House Semi Flush Mount Light – Amazon
• Boxwood Potted Plant – Joss & Main
• Zuma Gold Mirrors – Joss & Main
• Area Rug – Wayfair
• Floating Shelves – Amazon
• Gold Towels – Amazon
• Window Treatments – RLF Home
These are just for inspiration, not all of the actual pieces I’ll use.
And as you can see, it will flow nicely into my master bedroom.
So now I’m off to paint! Hopefully, I’ll get that done and a couple other key pieces installed. I’ll give you guys an update next week.

That will flow nicely with your master bedroom! Can you tell me where you make your mood boards? I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to make them.

I use Photoshop to make my mood boards. It’s easiest to use items from Amazon or Joss & Main that have white backgrounds around the products. Then I use the Magic Eraser in Photoshop to erase the white background, then layer together! yeah… I’m sure that sounds a lot easier in my head 😉
