Hey everyone. I’m going to be unexpectedly out this week for the funerals of my grandmother and uncle. I’ve asked some of my bloggy friends to fill in for me with some fabulous projects while I’m out. Please give them some LOVE and I’ll be back next Monday!
Hi everyone. I’m Carolyn from Homework and I’m filling in for Erin today while she’s away. Erin asked me to share some of my projects with you and I’m happy to oblige.
I love a good upcycle project and I made this magnetic board out of an old cookie sheet. It’s such a simple project – just wrap a cookie sheet in fabric and add some fun twine. Instant magnetic / memo board.
Do you remember those candy necklaces on elastic string? Do they still sell those? Here’s an easy way to make your own candy necklace. Wrap candy in cello wrap and tie with pretty string. This is a fun craft for kids or to pass out as party favors.
If you like the chippy, vintage rusty look, you can make your own rusted cans. These are regular tin cans covered in paper. The paper is a print out of a rust image and then I Mod Podged it onto the can. Fun!
This tray had seen better days and was almost heading to the donation center but I decided to give it a facelift. I spray painted the tray black and then printed out a tile image. I cut out the tiles and Mod Podged them onto the tray.
