Holiday Decorating on the Cheap {with Dollar General supplies}

Since I’m often trying to “nest for less”, one of my favorite value stores that I frequent is Dollar General. They have a great selection of affordable items, including many fun and fashionable décor items at lower prices than most stores.

So what did I grab from the Dollar General Holiday décor section this past week? I first spotted some tinsel and little jingle bell ornaments. I created this fun and festive Jingle Bells Holiday Wreath. Pretty cute and definitely on the cheap!

I just wrapped a straw wreath form in tinsel, added 4 packages of jingle bells, and a festive bow. LOVE this look for less!

Next thing I spotted was a festive table runner for only $8. And it looks wonderful with my green dishes.

And to add a little bling to my kitchen chairs, I purchased some holiday ribbon mesh from Dollar General. Only $5 for the entire 30ft roll and it’s the perfect addition to kitchen Christmas décor. I think with my leftover mesh I’m going to make a fabulous Christmas wreath for next year!
