Holiday Scrapbook Paper iPhone Covers

The holidays are right around the corner and it’s time to update my iPhone case with some new bling. I have to admit… this project is so stinkin’ cheap and easy, yet my absolute favorite!

holiday scrapbook paper iphone coversI first posted this idea back in October of 2011 and it was a huge hit. Now I love updating my clear iPhone case for every occasion. But I think these Christmas ones take the cake!

Supplies needed:

  • Holiday scrapbook paper
  • Clear iPhone case (purchased mine from Best Buy)
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Exacto knife

OK, I have to admit that a little bit of holiday help fell into my lap for this project. The small book of Recollections scrapbook paper I purchased from Michael’s was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT in every single way. It already had a scrapbook collage feel to it and the main part of the designs fit inside my case PERFECTLY! I mean, see the photo below? I may have gone into the robot dance a little bit upon seeing this awesomeness.

So I got to work and traced the clear case around the scrapbook paper. Use scissors to trim. Then make sure you trace and cut out a little hole for your camera as well. I found an exacto knife worked best for this part.

And that’s it! Make as many of these puppies as you want. It’s seriously one of the cheapest projects you can make and I always get compliments on my iPhone covers!

I ended up making 4 covers total…

Again, this paper is just straight out of the Recollections 6×6 inch Festivus scrapbook paper booklet from Micheal’s. Bring your 40% off coupon and score it for less than $4!

Holy cow I LOVE this and how stupidly easy! Thanks for sharing – sometimes all it takes is someone to show you a good idea before you can take it and run marathons with it. 🙂

This is so much more unique than the standard clip on covers which you can get all of which I think are pretty lame. I will have to give these a go – I can honestly say I have never ever seen anyone else with one and that in itself is incentive to me to have one!

Thanks so much! I’m actually surprised this clear case has lasted over a year and kept up with my clumsiness!

So cute! I don’t have an iPhone, but I wonder if I could similarly decorate my phone. I’ll have to give it a try!
