Oh, how I wish the weather would cooperate because I have Spring Fever. Yep, my house is craving fresh flowers, brighter colors and maybe a little birdie or two…

robins egg nest glass clocheI actually wasn’t thinking about a bird’s nest cloche when I first spotted this little cheese dome set at Goodwill for $1 (yep, that’s right… one dollar). But somehow this little gem was chirping sweet nothings in my ear.

I found one at my local thrift store really cheap (cheep!) too! Mine is still sitting in the laundry room waiting for a re-make. Thanks for posting this. I am going out to find some chalk paint, and eggs. I have a real nest I am going to use. Blessings!

You are brilliant! I would have never thought to use a cheese server as a cloche. I have one stored away that I got as a wedding gift 32 years ago. Its time to upcycle that thing and create vignettes for every season and holiday. Thanks for your blog. I am a faithful follower.

I DO love robin’s eggs! And I had the hardest time finding any faux ones this year, for decor. I ended up using…I don’t know. Another species of birds eggs. Anyway….the whole piece is just lovely. Very pretty table display all around. : )
