Oh, my favorite time of the year is finally upon us! Time to get the Fall decorations out of the basement and decorate my fireplace mantel.
One of my favorite additions to this year’s fireplace mantel was a new garland filled with pumpkins and berries that I purchased from Michael’s for 50% off.
And I’m lovin’ these Command™ Brand clear hooks. First time I’ve ever used them and I’m flabbergasted that I never found these puppies before. They rock… that’s all I gotta say (tip: visit their website for some cool coupons).
I got a new ASCP little accent table from Red Posie, a vintage store near my house. Perfect size to sit on my fireplace hearth and hold a basket of flowers and some pumpkins.
I also have the Fall Subway Art I created last week on display.
I found some candlesticks on clearance for $5 from Michael’s and topped them with some mini ivory pumpkins.
I also filled a plastic orange vase with a small bouquet of flowers. Both items from the Dollar Store. Love using cheap design elements in my displays.
So, have you started on your fall mantel yet?

Thanks Allison! We lived without a mantel in our last apartment so I put a shelf under a large mirror. Had to decorate something, LOL!

Every time the holidays roll around it always makes me wish I have a fireplace and a mantel. I do have a table near my front entry that I treat as a faux mantel. I love that garland you have! It is beautiful.
Thanks so much Laura! Good luck with your faux mantel. That was me in our last apartment!
Your mantle is absolutely beautiful! I don’t have a mantel to decorate, but “floofing” for Fall is on my to do list for today! I’m so excited I can’t stand it. {I guess I’d better start by getting out of this bathrobe!:)} Thanks for sharing your inspiring, creative decor ideas. I love them.
Good luck with your decorations today, Ritajoy!
It’s so pretty! I do an apple theme until October, then Halloween and then a fall theme until Thanksgiving. It’s so fun to play with the mantle! LOL!
Thanks Jenny! Apple theme sounds wonderful! And I can’t wait to do a Halloween mantel, too. So addicting to decorate for he holidays!

Working on my fall mantel right now! Yours is so pretty! Love that new garland :)
Thanks Christina. Can’t wait to see yours!
Those command strips do rock I use them all over the house to hang everything now because of my plaster walls there is no nail or screw that goes into the walls without making a crater
Thanks for sharing the little stool.
If I had a mantel, you’d be in charge of decorating it. I love the garland and how you hung it with the Command strips. Smarty pants.
Your mantle looks great. Love your garland. So happy fall has arrived.
Thanks so much. Love Fall too, Brandi! My favorite time of the year :)
