4th of July Bunting Banner + Blog Hop

I feel like the summer holidays sneak upon us, probably because we’re busy with vacations, ball games, swimming, and keeping the kids corralled during school break.

Well I thought this year I would get ahead of the game a bit and make a fun little bunting banner for the Fourth of July!

And it’s super simple. Just print, trim, and string together.
Or you can use clothespins to attach to twine.

Stained Bunting Sign Tutorial

For some reason I got home from the Snap Conference and just want to try all of the products that I witnessed in action. Yep, I’ve been on a crafting kick for the past couple of days! Today’s feat? Minwax Express Color Stain.

minwax express color stained bunting signI decided to make a little sign for my craft room, something that could tie in with the DIY craft desk that I built last year.

I gathered my supplies:

  • Minwax Express Color Stain in mahogany
  • Staining pads
  • Wood cutout
  • American Crafts Thickers stickers
  • American Crafts bunting paper garland
  • Twine
