We have big plans this weekend (tomorrow is my birthday) but Sunday afternoon I plan on making this Chicken Spaghetti Bake. Perfect as a family dinner, casserole for a sick friend, or lunches for the week. Let’s get to it!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 package thin spaghetti
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 cups cooked chicken, cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small can sliced mushrooms
- Salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Cook spaghetti al dente.
Mix broth, soup, flour, butter, salt and pepper in a large pan. Boil for 1 minute under medium heat. Add mushrooms and chicken.
In separate bowl mix together sauce and cooked spaghetti, then transfer to a 13×9 inch baking dish. Top with shredded cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Then sit back and enjoy the yumminess of this amazing casserole.
As mentioned, this recipe is a great “gift” for a new mommy, new neighbor, or a sick friend. Also great for lunches during the week!
And trust me, the kids will love it too.
Ellie already requested this meal for her birthday dinner in a couple weeks.
HOPE YOU ENJOY!
