I missed out on posting my favorite projects last week since I was in the middle of a tropical storm in Mexico, so I’m hoping I made up for time loss with these goodies! Here again are a couple of my favorite projects I found while flipping through the DIY blog websites. These people have totally inspired me and want me to get out my paint brush (or sewing machine, oven mitt, and anything else crafty)!

First up is this beautiful dressing room makeover from Maple & Magnolia. While the entire room is breathtaking with the soft color palette and antique decor, I love each individual piece of furniture and accessory in this room that I would be happy to call my own.

Next up is Design Seeds, a color palette guide for use when redecorating rooms or starting a new design project. I first heard of this company while visiting Home Stories A2Z. Beth wrote a wonderful post on how to find color palette inspiration. I think I’ve found the color scheme for my {someday} craft room!

Now for something yummy… What are two of my favorite things to eat? Chocolate and peanut butter! So when I ran across these mouth-watering Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes from The Farm Girl Recipes, I immediately knew what I would be doing this weekend. Making these! And wait until you see the filler. Delish!

I ran across this comic book themed baby shower from The Thriftress. I first fell in love with this wreath, but there’s a bunch of other crafty details that went into this co-ed baby shower. The flag bunting and cake table backdrop really caught my eye. Adorable!!

Last up are these fantastic paper boat place cards from Nifty Thrifty Things. My mom decorates the table for every Sunday dinner and everything has a theme. I think she owns about 25 sets of dishes! Yeah, my mom would LOVE these for our next seafood night!

That’s it for this week! I have a bunch of new projects rolling around my head that I would love to accomplish this weekend, but I think first on my list is getting those pesky wallpaper remnants off the extra bedroom walls. Cross your fingers for me! I’d love to start painting soon!

Great projects! That dressing room is gorgeous!

To remove wallpaper, I use fabric softner (about 1- 2 capfulls) mixed with warm water in a big spray bottle. Works so quickly and makes the house smell great! Just make sure you wipe the wall down before painting.
