The very best part is you can grab all of these ingredients from the store while you’re there shopping for your party supplies, home decorations, seasonal decor, cleaning supplies, personal or household needs. I was actually quite happy with how many groceries I was able to shop for while I was there. Makes my life easier with one-stop shopping!

Ok… back to my favorite Springtime dessert… peanut butter pie!

I finally made the pie but a half of cup of peanut butter is clearly not enough to go with a whole 8oz tub of cool whip, unless you just want a cool whip pie with a taste of peanut butter, so I added another cup of pb to the mix and now I think I have a peanut butter pie.

Glad you liked it. And anything is better with more peanut butter 😉

        I have a question. I
am on a low sugar and low carb diet. What can I substitute to make this pie work. Do you know the calorie count of the pie please.

I also added one cup of peanut butter and also only added half the cool whip into the mixture. I used the other half of cool whip to top the pie. It was delicious !!

Awesome! And thanks for the tip, Jojo! I’ll have to try that 😉

I made this also but I used the chocolate or oreo crust and put about 1/4 jar of fudge ice cream topping in the bottom of the crust, then the pie mixture with added pbutter, and then more fudge topping on top and my husband and brother both were begging for me to make another pie – and request it for EVERY holiday! Thanks for making me look good!!

I used semi sweet chocolate chips to fill the bottom of crust with some fudge and added mini Reese cups (crushed) to blend with a cup of Pb instead of half and coated top with mini chocolate chips and used the buttercup chocolates around rim to decorate. Big hit and very quick and easy. Love it and I have tried it with half the Pb for fruit dip which it’s perfect for but I like my desserts super sweet and chocolaty.

I realize this is an older blog post but I just wanted to add that this is also really good with crushed nutter butters or vanilla wafers for the pie crust. I have also taken some of the mixter with whipped cream and folded in some melted chocolate for different pie layers (although that does make it a little longer than a five minute pie). So good–my husband’s favorite.

Could I use reddi whip instead? I don’t care for the ingredients in cool whip.

    Thank you!
